Well, Well, Well
It's been a long time hasn't it? I spent most of the summer (and my pregnancy) doing as much stuff with Kyla as we could before she became a big sister! I seriously thought the transition was going to be SOOO hard. In all reality it really wasn't too bad! We have had some temper tantrum and attitude problems that we are still working on, but other than that she loves having a little brother around. I gave birth to him at 38 weeks on August 8, 2012 weighing 7lbs 5 oz. I really would LOVE to do a birth post and his one month post soon, but I don't know how 'soon' I can do it. Things as a mom of two are CRAZY! I really don't know how moms do it. I feel like I have zero time for myself. But I love this crazy hectic life! I know this is super short and sweet, but it's time for bed since I am going to be back up in another couple hours to feed. Unfortunately he was not like Kyla in the sleeping department. She was sleeping through the night by three weeks old and he's five weeks and still waking up in the middle of the night. I got spoiled :( Well that is all for now. I will TRY to update soon!

Yikes!
It has been forever since I wrote in here. I guess life is just super busy, or that's what I am trying for so this pregnancy will hurry..? I am 27 (almost 28) weeks now! Time sure does fly with your second. We really have nothing ready for him. He's got some clothes, a couple bibs etc. but no bottles, not crib up, no bedding set, no mattress. Yep just call me a dang slacker! I keep telling myself I still have three months left! (actually less.. whoops!) I am just hoping he stays cooking long enough for me to get everything done. Kyla is still pretty excited for him to come. She walks up to my belly all the time and says 'baby brother it's time to come out!' or 'I think baby brother is coming out soon'. Hopefully she still feels that way when he actually arrives! I really want to make her a 'big sister gift bag' thing for when he's born. I really am confused on what all to put in it though because I hardly ever find big sister things. If you have any ideas it is very much appreciated! I'm going to have to cut this short and get everyone ready for the water park. Hope every one has a terrific Sunday! :)

It's a Boy!
I was so sure that it was a girl, but it definitely was a boy! I am supposed to be going back for another ultrasound because the little booger was so far down by my pelvic bone they couldn't get facial shots of him other than some side views. What they did get to see though was completely normal! I was 19 weeks and 4 days at my ultrasound and I was up to a total weight gain of about 12-13 lbs! Yikes! I honestly don't eat that much and have cut way back on junk food so I am trying not to worry too much about the numbers on the scale. We still haven't decided on a name yet. We've been thinking pretty hard, but haven't came to a final decision yet. I think it's going to take some time! Not much else has been happening so that's all the update I got.

Tomorrow Is The Day!
So much for updating weekly! I'm not even going to say I will get better. Let's face it.. I suck! Whatever. It's been busy, busy, busy around here. Tyler and I got married!! (Feb 26th). We moved immediately after. Literally.. the next day! We were busy unpacking everything.. then croup hit. Yuck yuck yuck! In amidst all of this we were potty training. Kyla decided about a week before our wedding she was ready. One day she didn't want to wear a diaper anymore. Yikes! I was looking forward to that day, but really kid?? Right before a wedding?!?! Are you out of your mind??? We did the best we could. Obviously wedding day she was in a diaper! After that she went back in undies. Then she got sick so she wanted no part of potty training. Now it's been smooth sailing ever since. She is completely pee trained (unless she is in a pull up then she pees in it) and we are working on her poop training. As long as I stick her on the potty when I see she needs to go she will poop on it which is great! She still pees at night when she is sleeping, but hey! I haven't bought a pack a diapers since before my wedding!! It's been fantastic!
As for this pregnancy it's going smoothly. I've been having braxton hicks contractions a lot so I have been making sure to drink plenty of water! I am 19 weeks and 2 days today. Tomorrow we get the big ultrasound and find out the sex! I am soo excited to finally see what I am carrying. I started off thinking it was a boy since this pregnancy was SO different from my last. Then, I started having dreams it was a girl. My dreams were true with Kyla so I guess we'll see. We do have a girls name picked out, but we have yet to agree on a boy name. I guess we'll see if it's worth fussing over tomorrow or not! I will make sure to update soon after my ultrasound!

Big Sister!
I am excited to announce that Kyla is going to be a big sister! I am 12 weeks today and everything with the baby has looked great thus far! I want to make sure I keep getting on here and documenting this pregnancy. I actually got this blog for that reason a few months ago (but I miscarried) so I really want to make sure I stay on top of it this pregnancy. I hate trying to think back on being pregnant with Kyla and going 'did I have this? or that?' So at twelve weeks pregnant I am up about five pounds (don't judge - fast food got the best of me for awhile). I am still in regular clothes most of the time. I sometimes whip out the maternity jeans. They are really just more comfortable then my regular jeans. My shirts fit me fine so far. I will be having to make a trip to the store for some bigger bras though very very soon! I have already gone up a whole cup size! I am happy to say my morning sickness this time around was easy compared to when I was pregnant the first time. I did have it but usually it was just around dinner time until I went to bed and no vomiting!! It started getting worse the past week or so but is starting to become almost nonexistent! Yay for that! As for cravings I have had some. Right now, I absolutely love cucumbers, broccoli, and celery with ranch dip! Yummm! Oh and miracle whip. kind of weird I know! haha. I was never a big fan of it, but right now it tastes SO good!
That's about all for the pregnancy. I think next week (Beginning of the 2nd tri!) I will start doing that survey thing. As for everyday life, It's been very busy. My wedding is in less than three weeks (YIKES!) and we are moving to a bigger and better home at the end of this month! I am super stoked! It's more a month so we are going to have to re-do our budget, but it is so worth it! That's all for now. I am sure I will have more stuff to post soon :)

A Bunch of Random
I intended to upload those photos from the pumpkin patch today, but for some reason my camera is nowhere to be found. I found the case for it, but not the camera! I'm freaking out just a tad because I still have SO many photos on it that haven't been uploaded on my computer or developed. I'm just hoping I didn't lose it for good. When I find it (because I WILL find it dang it!) I will upload those pictures that I have been promising all week. I'm starting to think this blog is a fail attempt. I got it to document Kyla's life (and for another reason why that will be explained later on down the road) but I can't find time to do it! I'm really hoping to get better at it.
Well since their isn't going to be pictures like planned, I will just give some random information. Her blood tests results came back fine! No signs of anemia and her vitamin levels are where they should be. That was a huge load lifted off my shoulders. She is also eating now. Eating like a normal child!! Which she hasn't done since she turned one. Her little 'phase' lasted a whole entire year. I am just hoping it's gone for good. We are also taking her to get her pictures taken professionally for Christmas and we are going to use those pictures for our Christmas cards. This will be my first time doing this so I am pretty excited! Last year, I took her Christmas pictures myself and just put them in a Christmas card (ya know those stupid store bought ones). I can't say I didn't like how the pictures came out because I did, but they weren't "professional". Her little personality really came out in the pictures which I thought was great, but the quality of the photo's wasn't good. I just have a lil ol digital camera cut my some slack! So I'm hoping this year the pictures will be of great quality while still keeping her personality in the pictures. A lot of people we send the cards out to live elsewhere and can't see her every day and see her little personality blossom. That brings another question to my mind that I have been debating. Should I open this blog up to family? Will I regret it? This blog is new so I don't think any of my family knows it exists. Should I tell them so they can see the updates on Kyla's life? I read mixed opinions on it on peoples blogs so I would love any and all opinions on it! Thanks!
That is all for now. Kyla's great grandma's birthday is tomorrow so I need to figure out what we're buying her. Yes it is tomorrow and I still have yet to buy anything. So pathetic!

Nervous wreck!
I'm pretty sure I promised pictures today, but those will have to wait. First off, I'm a nervous wreck (explain soon) and second off, my camera is not within reach and I am too lazy to go get it to upload photos. That's a good excuse right? We did go to the pumpkin patch yesterday and she had a good time! I think her favorite thing was playing golf with the gourds. I got about a million pictures of that. I'm pretty sure she is going to a golfer like her daddy. We ended up going with my mom and brother so she was happy to spend time with her Mimi and uncle. After that we out to eat at BK and she ate FOUR chicken nuggets. May not seem like a lot to all of you, but let me say my daughters idea of 'eating' this past year is one chicken nugget for an entire day. I'm excited to know that maybe, just maybe she is going to actually eat like a normal child! Phew! We then went to her great grandma and grandpa's to visit for a while, but she slept most of the time. I guess the pumpkin patch really wore her out. Then we went back to my mom's house so Kyla could carve her pumpkin that she picked out. I got a few pictures of that, but she really wasn't having it. She would much rather play with the kitty. All in all it was a good, busy day.
Now what I'm a nervous wreck about.. today we have to take her up to the hospital for blood work. Not just a prick on the finger blood work, I'm talking full on needle in the vein blood work. Yikes! Maybe I am retarded but I didn't know they did that! Her little veins are so so so tiny. I knew they do it for little babies that are sick in the nicu, but my little baby that needs "routine" blood work. WTF? I didn't know blood work for a two year old was "routine". Come to find out, it's really not. Since she hasn't been eating correctly this past year they need to check her vitamin levels to make sure they are where they are supposed to be. :( So this mommy is a nervous wreck! I am so scared for her. I know I am being a tad dramatic, but that's my job, right?! I HATE blood work, so how can I expect her to enjoy it. Yikes! Tyler and I have come to the conclusion that she is getting a toy after it's all said and done. I don't care how big this toy is she deserves it!
Okay enough rambling. If you kept up with this crazy, pathetic blog post then congratulations! I will update on how it all went and will (hopefully) have pictures from the pumpkin patch up tomorrow.
