Nervous wreck!

I'm pretty sure I promised pictures today, but those will have to wait. First off, I'm a nervous wreck (explain soon) and second off, my camera is not within reach and I am too lazy to go get it to upload photos. That's a good excuse right? We did go to the pumpkin patch yesterday and she had a good time! I think her favorite thing was playing golf with the gourds. I got about a million pictures of that. I'm pretty sure she is going to a golfer like her daddy. We ended up going with my mom and brother so she was happy to spend time with her Mimi and uncle. After that we out to eat at BK and she ate FOUR chicken nuggets. May not seem like a lot to all of you, but let me say my daughters idea of 'eating' this past year is one chicken nugget for an entire day. I'm excited to know that maybe, just maybe she is going to actually eat like a normal child! Phew! We then went to her great grandma and grandpa's to visit for a while, but she slept most of the time. I guess the pumpkin patch really wore her out. Then we went back to my mom's house so Kyla could carve her pumpkin that she picked out. I got a few pictures of that, but she really wasn't having it. She would much rather play with the kitty. All in all it was a good, busy day.

Now what I'm a nervous wreck about.. today we have to take her up to the hospital for blood work. Not just a prick on the finger blood work, I'm talking full on needle in the vein blood work. Yikes! Maybe I am retarded but I didn't know they did that! Her little veins are so so so tiny. I knew they do it for little babies that are sick in the nicu, but my little baby that needs "routine" blood work. WTF? I didn't know blood work for a two year old was "routine". Come to find out, it's really not. Since she hasn't been eating correctly this past year they need to check her vitamin levels to make sure they are where they are supposed to be. :( So this mommy is a nervous wreck! I am so scared for her. I know I am being a tad dramatic, but that's my job, right?! I HATE blood work, so how can I expect her to enjoy it. Yikes! Tyler and I have come to the conclusion that she is getting a toy after it's all said and done. I don't care how big this toy is she deserves it!

Okay enough rambling. If you kept up with this crazy, pathetic blog post then congratulations! I will update on how it all went and will (hopefully) have pictures from the pumpkin patch up tomorrow.
